good or bad???

Taking a look at the following two ads.

which is the good and which is the bad ad? here is my feedback on both.

Sample 1

This ad has no structure, and the it looks crowded. The colors do not give the ad a professional look. This particular ad is meant for a law firm. The ad uses many different fonts, sizes and styles which shows no consistency on the design. The print size is relative small, about 4 by 6 inches, the two images used are not a good quality for print material. Overall there are many things that could of been planed better in order to give this ad a clean, organized and professional look something that goes according to a law firm.


Sample 2
 This ad has a very clean image because it is well balanced and structured. The ad has a very strong goal, that is to transmit the meaning of the company that is being advertised. It is clearly stated that the company has a very strong money base and that it can be very well organized in order to create the revenue people look for. The ad is well organized and the ad uses a small variety of fonts which makes the design consistent. I personally think this it is a very well thought out and developed idea that goes according to the success of the company being advertised.

back to school with AD1...

I was absent from school for a really long time so I decided that it was time to make the extra effort to enroll. I really enjoy looking at the ads in magazines and on tv, editing them in my head and searching for a better way to present the purpose of the ad in a more efficient way. I try to understand the designers idea behind the concept of the design, but at the same time the reaction of the viewer. I would say that I have a passion for advertisement and how it plays a important roll in today's world. Advertisement is used in our lives everyday, we see it, use it and follow it even when we don't realize it or intend to. That is why I have decided to take an advertisement class to take my passion to the next level.

1st time ever using a blog

So here I am using a blog for the first time. Just like social networks this will take a while for me to get use to =) but lets hope everything goes according to plan.
