1001 Inventions: Muslim Heritage

The next assignment is to Visit the 1001 Inventions: Muslim Heritage show at the California Science Center.
We will need to select a few of the inventions, do some research and then develop a 3 ad marketing campaign on the product. Our goal will be to approach 3 different marketing targets, producer, distributor and end user.

1st Visit to the Watts Towers Art Center

This Weekend I visited the Watts Towers Art Center. The towers are just amazing but once you take the tour and do some research every corner of the place is full with history, love & art. I will highly recommend you visit the Watts Towers and take the tour, you will find your self surrounded by culture and art.

The Next face on draft were more defined and detailed.











































The Next Step is working on the computer, using ilustrator and Photoshop to create the desired look  for my poster. 





































I decided to try new ideas an move a little out of my comfort zone. trying maybe something completely different from from the original ideas.







































































The final Set of drafts were more defined, and with a set idea. some small variations made on each getting the design ready for the final product.







































































Now for the Final design. I decided to go for a clean, simple design. I used a combinaion of a picture and a vector image. added some retouching on the colors on the tower. On the colors and textres used on the letters for the "UAP" were based on the mosaics also find on the Watts Towers art center.

The Before & After

After many drafts, ideas, critiques and corrections the new look for my version of the Pro Music Store ad is finalized.

The final version looks well organized, its easy to read and identify the most important elements on the ad. Playing with the negative & positive space help to create a interesting visual concept.

Re-designing the bad Ad (Phase-2)

After the class critiques and many rough drafts we selected a few options to work with those. The goal was trying to develop a better concept. After the 2nd set of rough drafts the top four ideas are the following.

The new drafts show more details and also a better structure and used of the basic aspects of design.
Lets have in mind that this concept still need further develop, after the future critiques and improvements.
